Since 2017, markta has made a name for itself in Austria as an online platform for farm-based, regional products from sustainable production. Our first markta branch at Alser Straße 16, 1090 Vienna has been open since the beginning of July, selling over 1,000 products from regional small and family businesses. At the same time, we want to build a fair & sustainable food system for people, animals and the environment: avoid global structures in food consumption, create awareness for regional producers and products and save greenhouse gases and CO2 emissions. Tasks
- Backend and frontend development of our own Shopify app for internal merchandise management processes and portal for our producers
- Further development of the Shopify theme
- Technical support for the markta team
Qualification
- Several years of experience with Node.js, React and versioning (Git)
- Optional experience with Python and developing e-commerce projects
